2007- 2008 Mission Statement
Last year’s administration created a solid foundation for Ohio Wesleyan’s student government. It is now our turn to build upon it. The purpose of the Wesleyan Council on Student Affairs is to bridge the gap between the students and the University’ Board of Trustees, administration, faculty, and staff. We are the outlet for students to voice their concerns. The undertaking will be performed in various ways. The body must raise awareness of student needs to the rest of the campus. It should help foster and create a more cohesive student body. Our diversity needs to be celebrated and embraced. Among our constituents, we have to increase our awareness and visibility. Externally, we plan to seek greater participation from the other sectors of this school’s community. In order to complete our mission, education and communication will be essential.
WCSA Goals 2007-2008
- Increase awareness and visibility of WCSA
- A more cohesive community
- Celebrate and embrace diversity
- Increase participation by the campus and more support from WCSA and faculty
- Raise awareness of student needs
